1. A minimum of 80% attendance is compulsory. Thus, a student who does not maintain 80% attendance for a particular academic session shall not be permitted to appear in the examination nor shall he/she be eligible for promotion.

2. Leave to the pupil for absence is granted only on an application, addressed to the Principal through the class teacher submitted on time (definitely the same day, or the next day in unavoidable circumstances) duly attested by the parent/guardian.

3. The period of leave with reason should also be recorded in the pupil's diary by the parent with signature.

4. In case of illness, a Medical Certificate must be attached with the application. Long absence except in case of illness will not be granted normally.

5. If a pupil remains absent from the school for three consecutive days from the day of reopening without forwarding leave application in writing, his/her name will be struck off the rolls. If a pupil remains absent from the school for ten consecutive days without leave application his/her name will be removed from the school rolls.

6. Attendance is compulsory on National holidays such as Independence Day, Republic Day and special days such as Teacher's Day, Children's Day, Opening and Closing day of the terms.

7. During class hours pupil will not be allowed to go home or elsewhere. In case of some emergency cases, the parent of the student will have to come personally to take her/him.
